A place effects the soul. Stillwater House exists to bring refreshment through a beautiful place and restoration through a beautiful Person.

Both refreshment and restoration ultimately come from Christ, the One who holds creation together. Whether I’m styling a home or teaching a Bible study, it’s Jesus who is the designer and restorer of all things.

He breathes life into dust, brings beauty from ashes, and restores order out of chaos. There’s no limit in his ability to transform, and, one day, He’ll make the old perfectly new.

Until that day, whenever broken becomes beautiful or ugly turns pretty, it’s alignment with Christ’s work in our world and in our hearts, and the results whisper His name.

When I apply His creative principles in physical spaces, I have the privilege of playing a small role in His transformation work. When I open His Word, I’m personally changed by His beauty, and that’s an even deeper joy to share.

I have two incredible teenage sons and a fabulous husband who coaches leaders through Stillwater Partnerships. Crown Point, Indiana, is currently the place we call home, here at Stillwater House.
